About 8000 coronavirus tests have been carried out at the island’s schools so far, the Education Ministry has announced.
It said the mobile units were collecting samples as part of a programme to test a total of 20,000 pupils, teachers and other staff at schools.
So far, 8000 samples have been taken from nursery, primary, lower secondary, upper secondary, technical and private schools.
Sample taking is continuing, it added.
