A 20 year-old was arrested in Paphos yesterday on the suspicion that he stole €4,000 from a transport company owner.
The company owner told the police that he gave the money to the 20 year-old and told him to deposit it on his behalf.
However, he complained that the 20 year-old appropriated the money.
The suspect was led to Paphos criminal investigation department, where he gave explanations for half the amount.
The police is investigating the case.
