A 13 year old boy from Kyrgyzstan was found dead in Kyra village in occupied Morphou on Friday, Turkish Cypriot media report.
The boy had been declared missing on Thursday night.
According to Kibris, his body was found near a military shooting range.
It is believed that he came in contact with a land mine that exploded and killed him.
An autopsy will reveal the cause of death.
