The Covid-19 death toll in Greece rose to 171, following the death of a 91 year old woman in Athens. She had been suffering from underlying medical conditions.
Another individual succumbed early this afternoon.
Recorded cases in the country are 2,874. 19 remain in serious or critical condition.
9 out of 10 cases and deaths are people over 70 or with underlying illnesses. More than half of them are men.
