At 8:50 Saturday morning, the Larnaca Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC) received information about a crash of a small aircraft in the Marki area with two persons on board.
The JRCC implemented the National Plan “NEARCHOS” by mobilizing forces of the Fire Service, Police, and the Ambulance Service.
The rescue team located the fall site and extricated the 2 members of the crew.
After receiving first aid, the two rescued people were picked up by ambulances of the OKYpY Ambulance Service and were transferred to the Nicosia General Hospital.
