Tersefanou is gearing up to celebrate its culinary and cultural heritage with an upcoming festival that promises to tantalise taste buds and delight visitors of all ages.
The Community Council of Tersefanou has announced plans for a gastronomic and cultural event centred around the humble snail.
Scheduled to take place on May 12, 2024, from 3 pm to 8 pm, the event aims to showcase the unique traditions, gastronomy, and cultural legacy of the Tersefanou community.
Chefs and cooks will craft delectable dishes where snail takes the spotlight as the primary ingredient. Moreover, attendees are encouraged to participate in a competition to determine the finest snail-based dish.
The festival will be further enhanced by live performances of both traditional and contemporary music and dance.
Additionally, interactive workshops and a range of activities tailored for children will be available, adding to the festival’s appeal for families.
Stroll through the festival grounds and explore an array of food stalls offering “street food” options, as well as booths showcasing local products and crafts.
