As of today, the campaign “Let’s Share the Roads Safely” is entering its final month, organized for the past year by the Paphos Regional Tourism Development and Promotion Company (EΤΑΡ) in collaboration with the cycling clubs of Paphos and Evagoras Pallikarides.
The main objective of the campaign, stated to Phileleftheros by EΤΑΡ President Kyriakos Drousiotis, is to send messages to both cyclists and motorists on how these road users can coexist with mutual respect, ensuring the safe practice of cycling.
The messages, he emphasized, derive from the Traffic Code and have been approved by the Paphos Police Department.
The campaign is designed in both Greek and English and is conducted during various periods, said Mr. Drousiotis.
The first phase concluded last December, the second last August, while the third phase started in October and will continue until December, within the framework of actions to promote the title of European Capital of Smart Tourism 2023.
