A 42 year old from Larnaca is in critical condition at the Nicosia General Hospital after an accident on the Palaichori-Agros road yesterday afternoon.
The accident happened just after three, when the motorcycle driven by the man, followed by a 2nd motorcyclist, overturned under as yet unidentified circumstances, with the driver being thrown onto the road and suffering critical injuries.
The 2nd motorcyclist entered the opposite lane of traffic to avoid the man, resulting in a collision with an oncoming car. He suffered hand and shoulder fractures. He is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The Nicosia traffic precinct is investigating.
