Marios Pelekanos resigned from his position as First Vice President of DISY (Democratic Rally).
As he states in his announcement, “My political ethics, dignity, and conscience do not allow me to continue, and they oblige me to submit my resignation.”

“My political ethics, dignity, and conscience do not allow me to continue, and they oblige me to submit my resignation from the position of First Vice President of the Democratic Rally.
I have worked all this time with a clear goal: to make the Democratic Rally a great and modern party of the right, with clear positions and orientation.
Once again, I sincerely thank the thousands of members of the faction who honored me with their vote a few months ago, embracing my message. I remain by their side.”
