Kissonerga aims to take advantage of its sunsets to impress visitors and locals alike.
The area’s newly constructed Sunset Amphitheater, a stone-built marvel with an amphitheatre design, is now open to the public, offering a serene spot for relaxation and admiration of the coastal scenery.
This development is part of a broader initiative by the Kissonerga Community Council to enhance the village’s appeal. The amphitheatre, nestled at the popular Potima viewpoint, provides a panoramic view of the Mediterranean.
Talking to philenews, Giorgos Stylianou, President of the Kissonerga Community Council, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, highlighting its role in the village’s ongoing transformation.
According to Stylianou, the amphitheatre is just one of many projects aimed at elevating Kissonerga’s status as a prime destination for both locals and visitors.
The council’s efforts extend beyond the amphitheatre, with improvements made across Kissonerga, including the revitalisation of the community square, enhancement of local infrastructure, and the promotion of green initiatives.
