The Junior and Senior School is a licensed Private School operating under the regulations of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth. At the Junior School, the programmes of study from the National Curriculum for England for the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2 are taught to children aged from 3 to 12. The Senior School continues with a programme based on the English National Curriculum in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and students are prepared for IGCSE and A Level examinations as well as the Apolytirion.

Our school aims to provide excellent, innovative and creative education that enables all students to realise their full potential and to become confident, compassionate, and healthy members of the global community. Our curriculum offers rich learning experiences in a challenging yet supportive learning environment.

The teaching and learning is enhanced by the best use of technology ensuring that all our students have immediate and constant access to relevant learning resources and information, and that they are given opportunities to utilise technology in a variety of exciting and engaging ways in their learning experiences. Our academic curriculum is rigorous and engaging and is complemented by a full programme of extra-curricular activities.

Educating since 1944, The Junior School has been offering outstanding academic and social standards. The teaching is organised with a subject leader for the core subjects and each Year Group (usually 4 classes) is supported by a Head of Year, who is line managed by an Assistant Head. The Headteacher, along with the leadership team, ensure standards are maintained, new methods and activities are incorporated into schemes of work and that the appropriate resources and facilities are available to the children. By the time the children complete Year 6 they are well-prepared for secondary education.

The Senior School, founded in 2003, was a result of the continuous expansion of the School. Its curriculum offers a seven-year programme leading to (I)GCSEs and A levels in a range of subjects.

The TJSS Elite Athletes’ Programme (Sports School) introduced in 2022, offers an exciting new dimension to sports schools in Cyprus, providing an innovative and balanced curriculum that puts equal emphasis on both fitness and sports skills, as well as academics and pastoral care in the nurturing, supportive environment our school is known for.

Also, as a recognised Microsoft Showcase School since 2018, staff are skilled in using technology in the classroom to create and offer lessons which differentiate without stigmatising while at the same time keeping students engaged and stretching them to reach their full potential.

Our students thrive in international as well as national examinations and competitions, achieving excellent results and receiving prestigious awards allowing them entrance to highly ranked universities and competitive courses across the UK, Europe and North America.
