FAQ

1. Where can I find the form?

2. How do I submit the form? Can I send it by email or do I have to go in person?

You don’t have to go in person. Completed forms can be sent remotely by email, fax or post. Only in the event these cannot be sent remotely, delivery is also possible by hand at the bank branch.

3. Is the form the same for individuals and companies or are there two separate ones?

The document is the same for people and companies. A non-signed document is accepted by the financial institution.

4. If I only want to suspend payments for some of my loans, do I need to fill out two separate forms for those loans I want to continue paying?

By filling in the form, you declare your wish to suspend payments for all loans and interests for which you are the primary or joint owner. If you do NOT wish to suspend payments for some of your loans, you need to say so in the relevant section found on the form. If you wish to suspend all your loans, then that section needs to be left blank.

5. Will there be consequences if I suspend my loans? Will my loan become non-performing?

As per the decree, suspension of loans for nine months (until December 31, 2020), will not render any loans non-performing.

6. Does the form only cover loans or does it also suspend payments of interests, overdrafts and credit cards?

As per the decree, suspension of instalments and interests includes interests emerging from overdrafts as well as credit card instalments.

7. If I have a loan with one financial institution and there is a direct debit to pay instalments from a different institution, do I need to notify both regarding suspension of my loans?

Yes.
