Zinovios and Zinovia lived during the 3rd century. Zinovios was a doctor. The brother and sister was put to death in the name of Jesus Christ from the ruler Lysias. The memory is celebrate on the 30th of October. The church is located at the abandoned village of Statos. Although the village was abandoned in 1969 the church is being kept in a very good condition by the locals who moved to nearby villages.
This is the only church dedicated to these saints.
