-Where do you most enjoy your morning coffee?
-I’ll tell you about the weekends, where I am a ‘guest’ in my parent’s home in Limassol. I most enjoy my morning coffee there. I wake up from the smell of freshly baked coffee, while a table full of breakfast goodies is waiting for me.
-Which is your favorite city yard?
-At 1888. One of the most beautiful and picturesque yards in Nicosia.
-Where can you find the best souvlaki?
-At Astra Kebab, owned by my uncle.
-Where do you find authentic meze dishes?
-I couldn’t pick anything else but my family’s tavern. Stone Tavern in Pareklissia, Limassol, customers can enjoy a rich Cyprus meze.
-Favorite restaurant/bar/cafe in your neighborhood?
-Ilektrika Idi in Limassol. It’s an all-day bar located at the heart of the city.
-Could you reveal a well-hidden city gem?
-This summer I discovered ESOBGA, which is located in the pine trees, near the Presidential Palace.
-A restaurant that holds a special place in your heart? A recommended dish?
-My favourite dish is salad, therefore I order them in every restaurant I go.
-Which is your favorite kind of cuisine and where you can enjoy it in Cyprus?
-Mediterranean cuisine, because I won’t easily try dishes from other cuisines.
-Where could you find the best cocktails?
– My favourite Mouson bistro bar at Onasagorou and Ammos in Larnaca.
-Where do you usually find delightful sweets?
-At the traditional pastry shop Melirriton at Stavrou Avenue. Have you tried the orange cake? I recommend trying it with ice cream. Perfect!
-Which place do you remember fondly?
-I will take you to Limassol again and specifically, my childhood years. Carelessness, walks and games with schoolmates in our homes’ yards. My best memories are from my village.
