Cyprus will get a break from extremely hot weather in the next three days with temperatures set to drop by up to four degrees and isolated showers on the way.
This is what meteorologist Andreas Chrysanthou told Philenews on Monday, adding that on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be mostly clear. But in the afternoon, there will be temporarily increased cloud cover, with a chance of isolated showers mainly in the mountains and in the interior.
“This is a seasonal low pressure which traditionally affects the eastern Mediterranean region, as well as Cyprus, in the peak of the summer,” Chrysanthou also said.
“But these phenomena are not related to the system recorded in Greece and the Balkans,” he added
At night and early in the morning there will be locally increased low cloud cover and thin fog over the next three days.
