The Limassol District Court remanded in custody for six days on Saturday a 42 year old man who was arrested the day before in relation to a case of possession and dissemination of material depicting child sexual abuse, the CNA reports.
Police arrested the suspect following a tip-off, while investigators are examining relevant evidence found in his home.
In particular, police confiscated three computers, one mobile phone, four external hard drives and five electronic data storage units.
According to the CNA, police said that the 42 year old “appears to have admitted to the allegations providing some claims that are being investigated.”
