A lovely beach in the popular tourist resort of Polis Chrysochous.
Located in the popular and thriving tourist resort of Polis Chrysochous in the Pafos (Paphos) region, the Municipal beach is set amidst lovely natural surroundings.
The sands are deep golden, and the clean seawaters here are calm, making it a popular choice for all, including families with children.
Facilities on the beach include toilets, showers, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas, dustbins, and water sports. There are also a variety of restaurants, fish taverns, cafes, bars, kiosks, and accommodation in the area.
Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach from April 15 – October 31, 11:00 – 17:30. The beach offers disabled access, including a special chair to help disabled persons enter the water, with assistance from the lifeguard tower. Moreover, an innovative system (Seatrac) that offers autonomous full access to the sea for the disabled is installed on the beach.
Access is easy by foot, bike, bus or car, with car-parking available
