The Defense Ministry announced that the swearing in ceremonies of new recruits will take place on Thursday 5 August. Due to the pandemic and the measures being taken to contain the virus, friends and relatives of the soldiers will not be able to attend.
However, it has been arranged, wherever possible, to have live streaming so that the ceremonies will be broadcast live on the website of the Defense Ministry.
