Cypriots will join millions of people around the world and will switch off their lights in support of nature and our planet on Saturday, 27 March, 2021 at 8:30pm.
Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature. The event is held annually encouraging individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions there will be no event at the Presidential Palace this year but the Palace will be symbolically lighted in the colors of the Earth Hour, blue and green.
