A 48 year old woman was admitted to Limassol Hospital with serious burns on Wednesday, philenews reports.
Citing sources, it said that the woman, a Romanian national married to a Cypriot, appears to have set herself on fire.
The site said the neighbours had notified police who responded to the incident.
It added that a plastic container with petrol and a box of matches were found at the scene.
