Two men aged 48 and 38 were jailed for 12 and 10 years respctively by Limassol Criminal Court on Monday after being found guilty of possessing more than eight kilos of cocaine.
The 48 year old was arrested on Augusr 21 last year after the anti narcotics police stopped his motorbike and found in his possession a plastic bag with a cardboard box with eight packages of cocaine weighing a total of 8.835 kilos.
The man was arrested while as part of their investigation, police searched the house of the 38 year old and found three cannabis plants. He tried to flee but was caught by police.
