Police in Limassol recovered a vehicle stolen from outside a house in Monagroulli with the help of the owner who was able to track it down thanks to the GPS system.
Philenews said that the man contacted the police early on Tuesday morning and through the app was able to follow the GPS installed in the car and inform the police accordingly.
Police found the car in an open area in Palodia. The thief managed to get away on foot.
Philenews said that the thief reportedly entered the house, threatened the man with a screwdriver and then took the car keys and fled.
Police investigations continue.
