The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) announced on Monday that due to a great number of phone calls it has been receiving from businesses who wish to donate money to the state to go towards Covid-19 expenses it has set up a bank account for donations.
The announcement said that these funds will mainly cover expenses pertinent to the protection of the health of medical staff in the public and private sectors, ex. purchase of consumables and any other products deemed necessary to protect the people in the front line of the fight against coronavirus.
CCCI calls on businesses that wish to donate to do so by deposit in the CCCI accounts below with the reference ‘Covid-19 donation’. CCCI will issue receipts for all donations.
The Ministry of Interior has granted its permission for this fundraising.
