The big fire that broke out at noon in the village of Kormakitis in the non-government-controlled areas, is currently under control.
According to Turkish Cypriot media, it seems that the fire broke out in a garbage dump and then due to weather conditions it expanded.
Firefighting “forces” of the occupation “authorities,” members of the so-called police and civilians participate in the efforts to put out the fire.
