The British Bases said on Friday that a member of the British Forces Cyprus community permanently based in the Eastern SBAs has tested positive for COVID-19.
The individual is currently in self-isolation and is displaying only mild symptoms, a spokesman said.
This brings the total number of positive tests within the British Bases to four.
“British Forces Cyprus continues to align with the Republic of Cyprus as we respond to this illness together,” the spokesman concluded.
The latest case among the 16 new cases announced by the Health Ministry earlier today.
