The Animal Party Cyprus reported that 4th April is a day dedicated to abandoned animals, adding that it hails the government’s positive efforts toward the well-being and protections of all animals.
However, the party noted that currently all shelters all over Cyprus are full of abandoned animals, which in their majority are dogs, hunting dogs.
On the occasion of 4th April, the party’s president and members of the central committee will visit Limassol, Nicosia and Larnaca and will remain in shelters sending a message of what these dogs and cats have gone through, so that foster families will be found for their adoption.
