A total of 402 trees and 5,837 bushes at a total cost of €61,442 are to be planted along a revamped Aglandjia avenue in Nicosia, replacing those cut down in order to widen the road.
Mayor Charalambos Petrides said eight different kind of trees and 14 kind of bushes are to be planted, including cypress, citrus and olive trees, rhodondendron, lavender and bougainvillea.
