A 31-year-old, who seems to be involved in 16 cases of thefts from warehouses and houses under construction in the area of Pera Chorio, has been remanded in custody for eight days to facilitate investigations.
The man has been arrested on the basis of an arrest warrant and yesterday appeared before the Nicosia District Court which ordered his imprisonment.
The thefts took place between April and June 2022 and, among others, fuel, car batteries, and catalysts have been stolen.
Policemen of the Pera Chorio Nisou Police Station continue the investigations.
