A 26 year old man was arrested early on Thursday morning after he was caught doing 176 km per hour on the Limassol-Nicosia highway where the speed limit is 100 km.
Police said the man was stopped near the Tseri exit at around 1.20 am. He was taken to the police station, charged in writing and released and will appear in court at a later date.
