Four thousand euros cost a 49-year-old shop owner in Paphos the possession and sale of duty-free tobacco products.
Their detection was made after a police investigation in three establishments in Paphos, according to court warrants, to combat the phenomenon of possession of firecrackers and duty-free tobacco products.
In the shop of the 49-year-old woman, according to the police, 36 cartons of cigarettes, 200 grams of tobacco, and six cartons of cigarettes of electric combustion, for which the required duty had not been paid.
Customs was summoned to the place and issued the 49-year-old shop manager with an out-of-court notice of four thousand euros.
