The Forest Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environment, in collaboration with the Municipality of Peyeia, announces that starting on Friday, January 5th, the road to Akamas via the “Aspro Potamo” until the junction with the road from “Osia Matrona” will be temporarily closed for all vehicles for safety reasons.
Visitors are urged to use the road to and from the chapel of “Osia Matrona” and follow the attached diagram.
The Forest Department apologizes for any inconvenience to the public and will provide further notice when the road is safe for visitors.
