The aim is for the port, which is being created in Gaza as part of the maritime corridor for providing humanitarian aid to the area, to be ready by 1st May, stated President Christodoulides when asked about updates regarding the maritime situation.
As the President pointed out, he has been “very specifically” informed by US military officials during a recent meeting about the establishment of the port there.
“The goal is 1st May, but according to the information I received, it seems that there might be a conclusion much earlier, which is something that will further increase humanitarian aid to Gaza,” he concluded.
