Once again this year, Cyprus will commemorate the anniversary of March 25th with Doxologies, parades, and other events in all cities.
At 10.00, a Doxology will be held at the Church of Panagia Faneromeni in Nicosia, presided over by Archbishop George, Archbishop of Cyprus, in the presence of the President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides, Athena Michaelides, Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, the Speaker of the Parliament Annita Demetriou and the Ambassador of Greece Ioannis Papameletiou. The Archbishop will deliver the solemn service of the day.
At 11.00, the President of the Republic, accompanied by Ministers, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Ambassador of Greece, will receive the parade salute from a podium in front of the Greek Embassy building.
The parade will be attended by old warriors, students of Higher Educational Institutions, students of secondary schools, scouts, unions, and organizations.
At 12.30, the President will attend and address the reception of the Ambassador of Greece at the Ambassador’s residence.
Ceremonies and parades will also be held in the other cities.
