Office at Gymnasium Panagia Theoskepasti is reported to have been burgled by unknown individuals on Sunday night, subsequently setting fire to items they took from there after first transferring them to an open area.
According to the Police, the perpetrators are alleged to have taken a laptop belonging to an Assistant Director of the school and then set fire to various items in an open area of the school that they had moved from the same office.
The fire was timely extinguished before it could spread by the Fire Service.
Investigations continue to identify the alleged perpetrators.
