Burglars stole jewelry and watches worth around €58,000 from a house in Tala, Paphos, CNA reported on Sunday.
According to police, at 7 pm on Saturday a Norwegian man reported that while he was absent from his house, between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm, burglars had broken in and stolen the items.
These included a woman’s watch worth €5,000, a man’s watch worth €22,000, a second man’s watch worth €28,000 and a woman’s bracelet worth €3,000.
Officers who examined the crime scene said the burglars had entered and exited through a sliding balcony door.
Police are continuing investigations.
