The bishop of Tamasos and Oreinis will not engage in a public dispute, it states in a press release, expressing full confidence in the procedures of the Synodical Court and the Police.
“We are closely monitoring the false information being spread and announced in an attempt to influence public opinion and ongoing investigations. We will not follow this path and will not get involved in a public confrontation to respond to every false or misleading claim. We have complete faith in the procedures conducted by the Synodical Court and the Police, to which we duly entrust the truth,” it adds.
Finally, it asserts that they are absolutely certain that the whole truth will soon come to light.
