Yesterday, a 62-year-old man was arrested by police in connection with an investigated case of shooting at a car, which occurred last Monday in the province of Limassol.
The 62-year-old suspect was taken into custody, with Limassol CID continuing the investigations.
According to the information under examination, around 3:15 p.m. on Monday, May 6th, two suspicious individuals, riding a motorcycle, stopped outside a residence in Zakaki, where they fired shots at a car used by a 61-year-old man.
Police officers from the Limassol Police Directorate and a team from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Police Headquarters conducted examinations at the scene, collecting various evidence for further investigation.
Evidence against the 62-year-old suspect emerged from the investigation conducted by the Limassol CID, leading to a judicial arrest warrant issued against him.
He was arrested under the judicial warrant shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday and placed in custody for police questioning purposes.
