Investigations are underway by the Limassol CID regarding gunfire directed at a 61-year-old contractor’s vehicle in Zakaki, which occurred yesterday afternoon.
Investigators secured evidence against a specific individual and subsequently sought a judicial arrest warrant.
The said individual was searched for but not located and is currently sought, according to statements made by the Police Spokesperson, Christos Andreou, on the Alpha Kalimera show.
Examinations and closed-circuit television footage also revealed that the perpetrators were two individuals riding on a dark-coloured scooter.
It is reminded that the gunfire occurred around 15:30 on Easter Monday, targeting the vehicle of a 61-year-old contractor parked outside his residence.
Economic disputes appear to be linked to the case.
