On Saturday around 11:30 in the morning, a person involved in mushroom picking informed that in the area of Kyperounda, he spotted an object resembling a grenade, which was received by the Police.
The Station Commander and a member of the Agros Police Station went to the site and found that it was an explosive object, and a bomb squad was called in immediately.
The grenade was received by the bomb disposal expert for destruction.
