Police arrested two 16 year-olds who were found carrying four stolen knives on Monday 15 October in Limassol.
According to Phileleftheros, around 5pm, members of Limassol’s Cycling Police were informed about a robbery in a nearby store.
When they went to the scene they found the two 16 year-olds with four opening knives (1X6cm, 1X8,5, 2X10cm) in their possession.
The knives were allegedly stolen from the store.
Police arrested the teenagers on charges of carrying knives and unlawful possession of suspected stolen property.
They were released on Monday evening, after being questioned at the police station and charged in writing, in the presence of their parents.
Police is investigating the case.
