France and the UN will be hosting a Lebanon donor teleconference tomorrow afternoon, aimed at providing fast assistance for those affected by Tuesday’s tragedy. The country is most in need of medical supplies, medicines and basic foodstuffs.
85% of its grain reserves have been destroyed and it’s now down to quantities that will last less than a month.
President Anastasiades will be among heads of states and governments taking part in the teleconference following an invitation extended by President Macron, said government spokesman Kyriakos Kousios.
