Local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected today as well as more snow in the mountains. Snow depth in Troodos today is 31 cm.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning that will be in effect today and until tomorrow morning.

In its announcement the Met Office warns the public to be aware of the potential for localised flooding of a small number of properties, with local disruption to outdoor activities. It also warns of difficult driving conditions due to reduced visibility and aquaplaning.

Rain and thunderstorms will continue until Saturday and on Sunday increased cloud at times is expected.
