This Sunday, May 26, Farra Duo from Greece are coming to Yalla for a magical islandish journey.
”Farra” in Spanish means feast. Farra Duo was created in the south of Spain in 2016.
Its basic composition is a duo with clarinet (Daphne) and lute (Thanos) who especially love the music of Epirus, Macedonia and Thrace. When the instruments change hands they transform into an islandish scale with violin (Thanos) and lute (Daphne) that travels from the Cyclades to Drama.
The two voices are constantly mixed with contradictions and disagreements. They love dance, joyful people and the participative mood of a group, which when combined creates a feast.
