A must-have with every meal is a village salad. You will find it in every tavern or greek restaurant you visit in Cyprus. Make it with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, green peppers, green onions or onions (not necessary) and fetta cheese, olive oil and vinegar. Usually it is served sprinkled with dry mint or oregano.
