Two flamingos with rope around neck and leg saved

After almost one month the flamingo that was seen in the salt lake of Larnaca on 1 December with rope around his neck and leg was finally saved.

According to information, the flamingo was found and saved at the lake of Oroklini.

At the same time a second flamingo that was also found with rope around its legs was also freed.

The whole operation took place in the presence of people and photographers who had gathered there and had called for hope.

It seems that in both cases the flamingos had thin plastic ropes used to fly kites, something that usually takes place on Greek Monday in the park near the Larnaca Salt Lake.
