Turkish Cypriots will receive on Monday an additional batch of 1,170 doses of Pfizer – BioNTech vaccines.
Head of the bicommunal technical committee on health Leonidas Phylactou told the Cyprus News Agency on Saturday that the Cyprus Government has included the Turkish Cypriot community in its vaccination plan and therefore the Turkish Cypriots will be gradually receiving vaccines doses to meet their needs.
He said that so far 1,080 people were covered with the shot.
Last Monday the Turkish Cypriot community received the first batch of doses.
The vaccines were delivered by Phylactou to the Turkish Cypriot Head of committee at Agios Dometios crossing point.
