TUI Ireland adds Cyprus to wedding destinations for 2019

Cyprus’  wedding tourism sector can anticipate a new boost after TUI announced that it has added the island of Aphrodite to its list of wedding and holiday destinations flying direct from Dublin Airport for summer 2019.

According to the Love Belfast website, ceremonies can take place in town halls sandwiched between bursts of pink bougainvillea, by the pool or in beautiful beachside hotel gardens that overlook the sea.

“Today this beautiful island still spells romance. With an 800-kilometre-long coastline, sandy beaches  & pine forests straight from a fairytale it’s easy to see why couples choose Cyprus as their wedding destination of choice,” it said.

On the days the couple are not tying the knot they can spend time exploring the Cypriot countryside. Nights are also made for outings à deux, with spots like Limassol specialising in lantern-lit tables, light jazz and sea views.

TUI’s destination wedding packages include a decoration set-up for the ceremony, registrar fees, a wedding cake, bridal bouquet, recorded music/CD for the ceremony, matching groom boutonniere among other.

Charlotte Brenner, Marketing Manager for TUI in Ireland, said “Choosing the perfect location for your wedding day is one of the most difficult decisions a newly engaged couple has to make. TUI have 10 beautiful hotel locations in Cyprus for couples to choose from. Our dedicated team of overseas wedding experts can assist in venue planning, accommodation, photographers, make-up artists and bands, everything is taken care of. We are delighted to bring this offering to our customers for summer 2019.”
