Eat & Drink Nicosia To Palati Tou Laou

To Palati Tou Laou

It is no coincidence that the wonderful To Palati Tou Laou restaurant in the historic core of Agios Dometios, translates to mean “the people’s place.” As soon as you enter, you will feel like royalty and every guest is treated like a VIP.

The place was first opened as a café in 1958 and has been a beloved neighbourhood meeting place ever since.

Today, the space stands out, not only for its small and cosy atmosphere and fantastic food, but also for its incredibly low prices, with dishes starting at €10 and the most expensive plate on the menu reaching €12.

Guests can enjoy fresh and tender meats, generous helpings and wonderful homemade Sheftalia, created with expertise by the talented chef Andreas Demosthenes.

Markou Dragou 5, Agios Dometios, Nicosia. Tel: 22775462, 96845277.
