Adiós Zapatistas – La Despedida – Presentation & Concert in Nicosia on November 3

The magical trip of the rebellious beetles who live in the jungles and valleys of Chiapas in Cyprus is coming to its end…

Next up is a visit to the rest of the geographies of Europe who resists, until the next Trip to the rest of the geographies of the whole planet Earth who are in resistance!

On Wednesday 03/10 at 19:00 we say farewell to our comrades Zapatistas. In the event there will be a short presentation of the Trip in Cyprus. The topics of discussions and events will be presented and experiences of the participating groups will be shared. The comrades Zapatistas will also share a farewell speech with us.

During the event there will be a musical program, a photo exhibition as well as printed material from the collectives that make up the Coordination for the Zapatista Trip to Cyprus.

From Cyprus to Chiapas… resistance & solidarity against the capitalist hydra!

All events organized for the visit of the Zapatista delegation to Cyprus are alchohol-free, following the principles of the Zapatista communities in Chiapas, Mexico. We ask the attendants to respect this. There will be non-alchoholic drinks and vegan food served.

This event is part of the Zapatistas Journey to Life European foot. Within the scope of the journey, a delegation visits Cyprus and meets collectives who resist and fight capitalism. Organization and implementation of the journey is responsible for the Zapatistas Cyprus Travel Coordination group.
