First staged in 1959, The Sound of Music has been adored by audiences all over the world for the last 60 years. Both on stage and screen this musical has been a firm favourite across the globe. The show’s movie adaptation became a worldwide blockbuster, winning five Oscars, and is still enjoyed on the large and small screen to this day.
This spectacular fully staged production features dramatic scenery, costumes and of course all the classic songs including “My Favourite Things”, “Edelweiss”, “Do-Re-Mi” and “Climb Every Mountain” and the captivating “The Sound of Music”
With a team of 50 people from London, this production is directed by Grant Murphy with choreography by Stuart Winter and production design by Ben M Rogers. Brady Mould conducts the West End Theatre Orchestra.
